Groomer's Van: the 100% claim, the buy, and the check
Groomer's Van is a Duel original on a 5 by 6 grid. The rules screen, version v1.4 as reviewed through 1 July 2026, states 100% RTP for the base game and for free spins. A later full count of the published weights gets 99.9720%. The bonus buy costs 125 times the stake, and its first frame is a canned picture, not a spin you can recompute. Read 18 October 2026.
| Question | Short answer | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Is it really 100% RTP? | The rules screen says 100%. The enumeration says 99.9720%. | Neither number is your result tonight. |
| Is it as easy to check as Dice? | No. Clusters, tumbles, and sticky bombs sit on top of the seed. | A dice formula will not rebuild this grid. |
| What is the hole in a buy? | The opening frame is cosmetic and outside the provably fair chain. | The 10 free spins after that frame are still inside the chain. |
| Does 100% mean low risk? | No. The cap is 5,000x and the path there is rare. | A matched spin is not a winning session. |
| What should you read live? | Rules version, the day's allowance, the buy price, the verification panel. | Those fields move. This page is dated 18 October 2026. |

Why this slot is a harder check than Dice
Most online slots sit in the mid-90s. A title that prints 100% on the rules screen is unusual before you touch the math. Groomer's Van is also a slot, not a one-line formula. Eight matching symbols pay, those cells leave, new cells fall, scatters start free spins, and bombs stick. Dice can be checked from a chance and a multiplier. This grid cannot.
Two RTP numbers, and what the gap is
100% on the rules screen means the house, in that text, claims no edge. 99.9720% from the enumeration means the published weights and paytable, counted across every spin index, keep 0.028%. A 30 million spin sample landing at 100.06% does not overturn the count. Samples wobble. The count does not.
House edge is the rest of the percent. On a flat $100 stake repeated 1,000 times, turnover is $100,000. At 99.9720% the expected loss is $28. At a stated 100% it is $0. One player in that run can still lose the lot. The percent is the center of the cloud.
How a spin moves
Cluster
There are no paylines. A win is 8 or more matching symbols connected anywhere on the 30 cells. Wilds stand in for any symbol except a scatter. Larger clusters pay more.
Tumble
Winning cells disappear. The rest drop. New cells fill from the top. If the new grid makes another cluster, it continues, until it does not, or until the spin hits 5,000x.
Free spins
Three scatters award 8 free spins, four award 10, five award 12, six award 14. Extra scatters during the feature add spins. The bombs stick for the rest of the feature and they add: 2x and 5x on the same spin is 7x, not 10x. The published values run from 2x to 250x. The ladder is written out on the free spins page.
Bonus buy: 125x, and the frame you cannot recompute
The buy skips the base game. In the bets captured for the public audit, every buy showed 4 scatters and then 10 free spins. That opening grid is assembled for the animation. It pays the 3x scatter minimum and sits outside the provably fair chain. The free spins after it are inside the chain: 475 of 475 captured free spins reconciled.
The long-run return of the buy is 99.9997% of the price. That is the 3x scatter pay plus a bonus expected value of 121.9996x, divided by 125. A $125 buy therefore expects about $124.9996 over a huge number of buys. The buy you click today can pay much less. More of that arithmetic is on the buy page.
Symbols
The picture is a reading aid, not a dump of the weight table. The weights live in the game's verification panel. If the panel and this drawing disagree, the panel is the one that applies.
What 100% would change, and what it would not
A 100% long-run return means the average of a huge number of bets sits on the stake you put in. It does not pay you a profit for showing up. It does not stop a 5,000x game from being violent on the way there. It does not make a 125x buy feel cheap. The cap page is the rare tail. Zero of 6,225 captured bets touched 5,000x. A 30 million spin run did see sessions settle at exactly that multiple.
Provably fair: what a match is
A spin inside the chain rebuilds from the server seed, the client seed, and the nonce. The audit rebuilt 6,225 of 6,225 captured spins, 4,323 cascades, and 129,690 cells. The hash of the server seed is the commitment from before the stake. A match means that spin came from those seeds. It does not mean the session ends ahead, and it does not cover the canned opening of a buy.
What is still a live check
The enumeration used the published weights. The daily schedule past $50,000 wagered was read as a table, from 0.01% to 1.84% on the payout, and it was not played. The captured bets stopped at $2,197, all with the edge multiplier at 1. Account rakeback sits outside that audit. Open the rules screen on the day you play and read the version and the allowance before you treat 100% as the number in force.
Who this is for
Someone who wants the round in one place: the grid, the buy, the cap, and the two RTP sentences kept apart. Someone hunting a dog-grooming van will not find one here. Google's suggestions for the bare name are vans and cities. The game queries that Google itself completed are groomers van demo and groomers van demo slot. A public demo URL was not found on 18 October 2026. That is the demo page.
Questions
Is Groomer's Van a 100% RTP slot?
The rules screen v1.4 states 100% for the base game and free spins. A full enumeration of the published weights gets 99.9720%. A 30 million spin run printed 100.06%, inside the noise of that count.
Is the 125x buy provably fair?
The opening frame is canned and outside the chain. The free spins after it are inside the chain.
What is the maximum win?
5,000 times the stake. Zero of 6,225 captured bets reached it.
Does a fair percent make the session calm?
No. The long-run edge can be a fraction of a percent while one session still goes to zero.
